Euro & Hard Dance

Fast, hard and gloriously cheesy: from Eurobeat and '90s Eurodance to hardstyle and Russian hardbass.

This group is the dance floor's most direct energy: Eurobeat is drift culture's high-speed sound, Eurodance the '90s hands-up hits, hardstyle the festival main stage's explosive kick, and hardbass the squat-dance of Russian tracksuit parties. Chinese DJ edits and hanmai now live under Internet Culture. Gabber is Rotterdam's ultra-fast hardcore, with distorted kicks faster and rougher than hardstyle.

A colossal outdoor festival main stage at night, fan-shaped flat beams, graphic pyrotechnic flames, a sea of raised hands.
